Shabby Apple Dress Photo shoot and Dress Review
I was contacted by Shabby Apple to see if I wanted to collaborate and review one of their dresses and of course I said yes! Shabby Apple is an online retailer that sells new clothing that has a vintage feel to it. They are pretty popular, with over 160,000 likes on Facebook. You can check them out at www.shabbyapple.com.
After I picked out this Pink Gramercy dress from a selection of options, it was sent to me later that week. This dress retails for $98. I had never had a bright pink dress before, so it was a little out of my comfort zone. I added a white bubble necklace I bought in LA (similar here) and hot pink earrings I got at Target years ago. The nude heels are from Payless. It fit well and was very comfortable.
My only complaint was the neckline, it has this weird ruffle that I don't think was needed and it was a tad bit too long. Other than that, I think this would be a great dress to wear to a wedding or graduation; definitely a special event as this is too formal to wear for an every day event. I used the Salomon filter on Pixlr-o-matic for the filter in these photos.
Here's the link to the exact dress if you were interested in ordering it. It also comes in green and purple.
